The EMR Specifications Library consists of Draft For Comment, Draft For Use, and Final EMR Specifications.

Final EMR Validation is available for an EMR Offering or is required to support certification

Draft For Use (DFU) Signifies that the EMR Specification is stable and ready for use but it is not required for certification or EMR Validation is not currently available for an EMR Offering. Updates may be applied prior to becoming Final and available for EMR Validation.

Draft For Comment (DFC) Signifies that the EMR Specification is still in development but available for consultation/feedback. As a Draft For Comment, additional updates are expected.
